Default yay shiny new parts

So...a few days ago I was on the highway. I was trying to pass someone out and hit the pedal pretty hard...next thing I know the rumbling from the muffler just got a different tone to it. I was like "okay...I know what the truck sounds like if the muffler fell off, so I know it's still there..." plus I was sure that the original sound was still there but it just had a whooshing rumble on top of that. So I get off the highway and stop at a walgreen's and found out that I basically shot out the outlet welds. Well...lasted a good 4 years...RIP 40 Series...Hello Super 44! Also you'll notice I ditched the dual exhaust and went single 2.5" as well as the long ends of the tail pipes. I gave up on maintaining the tips as Chicago area will always remain a pain in the *** when it comes to rust.

Right now the muffler is still in the break-in process so it's not really loud right now, but it does sound good nonetheless. Pics!

dang that old muffler got blown out, but the middle looks fine. if the new one isn't coated you might want to pick up some ceramic spray paint. i used vht "flameproof" last winter and my welds are still pretty clean.

Yea I guess the stainless steel part excluded the weldings. I should look into that paint.
