Default Sticker gas mileage?

I have a '97 Dakota Sport 4x4, club cab with the 5.2L, 3.9 rear end, and auto transmission. Does anyone know what the sticker mileage was listed at? I am only getting 13-14 inn mixed driving, no matter what. What mileage should I be getting and what will help me attain it?

13-14 sound about right for mixed driving with a V8 auto 4x4 CC...

I used to get better a few years ago on the highway. I forgot to mention it has the 31/10.5-15 tires. I was hoping to hear better than that, seems like some people are getting much better, I don't see how. I was thinking of changing the oxygen sensors to see if it helps. It has the original sensors and 91,000 miles.

Well of course it get's better mileage on the highway... 31s shouldn't be a problem with the 3.92 gears.

I average 14-15 mixed but I have a 5 speed.

I used to be able to get around 17 combined. Have had lower mileage for 5-6 yrs. Tuned up and Seafoamed about a year ago. Only use it around 5-6000 miles a year.

New transfer case, tranny fluid changed regularly, synthetic oil, air pressure correct. Thinking maybe the oxygen sensors are lazy, 91,000 miles on them.

It probably needs the plenum gasket replaced.

OK, can you elaborate please? Normal for these to go bad? Hard to change? Thanks.
