rakaric did you just spray the roof?any blending? i need to do mine and the top of my bed is scratched to hell.
Get some bed liner tape off the edge where your top of your bed starts to roll down on the outside and you can either spray on bed liner in a can or get a quart of roll on stuff. Im going to do it when I do mine.

The end result came out the way I wanted it....no orange peel and a clean look. Just look at the picture with the fluorescent light...it's awesome! The only problem I have is that my buffer sucks...so there are still small scratches visible from the color sanding. Maybe if I feel like putting money into a faster one, I'll finish it up. Pics! This was all done for under 100 bucks by the way.

Looks good not bad for 75.00 Oh I too love that hood!!

Well, the hood itself is functional, but I've never ducted the airway to the intake. I figured it would help airflow and keep the engine itself cooler.

The 4.7L design is pretty crappy when it comes to modding. It seems like everything with the intake/exhaust is more difficult to deal with modding as compared to the older engines.

It was already installed when I got the truck 5 years ago.

Yea, I figured it would be a cool experience to do it myself. It is all about the prep and patience and it'll turn out great! Anything looks better than what it used to look like.
