I wish haha. I would have to swap over a lot of stuff for that conversion no?

Yeah everything is pretty cheap there. I got a brand new looking dash bezel for my truck for 3.00 lol

Swap for 5.9- If you have the nv3500 tanny would be fine then computer, wire in 2 injectors am I forgetting anything guys?

I never done it but I dont think its not that hard to do.

V8 haha if you can get one with a harness and computer your golden...do your research on V8 swaps because I'm pretty sure its not to hard to wire in the extra 2 injectors and is so worth it. I have a completely different engine so I dont always pay attention to 3.9, 5.2, 5.9 swap threads

Well I got my truck back home on sunday and pushed in the garage till I decide what will happen to it. I'm considering dropping in a 5.9 but then I would also want to swap in a solid front axle and I'm not sure I can handle that alone.

Update: Swapped in a used head from a junk yard a few weeks ago and it's been running fine since. Total coast can out to about $300 with head and gaskets and oils and coolant much better than the price that mechanic was giving me. This will at least buy me time to further decide about swapping in a V8 and more time to gather funds.
