problem taking out 5.2 engine.. LOOK

No just thinking while its out do some engine work like cams and such. Plus dont know how well the last truck was taking care of since you never saw it.

agreed. I'd at least do all the gaskets for piece of mind. $1-200 and a couple hours now could save you lots of work later. If it was sitting, chances are at least one valve was open, over 6 months, I'd say things are worth looking at if nothing else. But I would do head gaskets, intake gaskets, and the belly pan/keggar gasket (or whatever it's called on our intakes).

yea i was going to do the following gaskets.. oil pan, valve cover, throttle body, intake (heard those were a thing to check into, on these engines)...

i wasn't going to go after the head gaskets but, i may as well do those aswell and check on the heads.

ps: i was surprised that there was no exhaust gasket... or did i get an engine that as mickey moused?? i'll look into that one...

any andvice for exhaust guys?
