Default Question About Superchips?

vehicle- 97 Dakota v8 148k auto 4x4

I been thinking about getting a superchip for my truck so that I can go over 98mph and improve MPG. I read up on other topics about superchips and one guy said, he was able to go 120 with his dakota and his trannys shifting improved.

questions

1. What is a good trusted superchip for a dakota?

2. What kinds of superchips are there like what can they do for a pickup truck performance?

3. Any pros and cons?

Thanks

P.S I don't plan on turning my truck into a race car or driving it like one but just knowing I can max my speedometer out is just cool.

Before you buy anything, make sure it will work on your truck. My SC model 3715 includes 1998-2003 3.9, 4.7, 5.2, & 5.9 engines, as well as 2003 Hemis. It does not include 1997 anything in the specs or instructions. Maybe one of the other SC models does, maybe not, I don't know.
