No more R/T
Well guys, it was hard to see the ol girl go. Sold it this weekend. I have to say that Dodge built one fun truck when they came up with the Dakota R/T. I hope its as good to the next owner as it was to me.
On a side note, here is its replacement....

Sucks that you had to get rid of the r/t , I told my wife I don't care if we are living in cardboard boxes we will just have to put them in the bed of my r/t cause I'm never getting rid of it. On the other hand those trailblazer ss's are quick.
I just came across a deal on this thing that I couldn't pass up. My girlfriend started looking for a new car and it gave me the itch. I would have loved to have had both, but I woulda never heard the end of it from her....never thought I would own another Chevy, but I can't complain too much about this one.
It is kinda funny though...my R/T had ~$7000 worth of performance add-ons and it was pretty quick. I mean, mid 8's in the 1/8 for a daily driver on street tires is pretty strong, right?
The TBSS stock is capable of 8.8's and for less than a grand you can put an intake, a 160 thermostat and a tune on this thing and its capable of mid 8's

I was suprised just how much a RC R/T weighs! If I remember right, with me in it and a 1/4 tank mine was exactly 4125. I haven't taken the TBSS across the scales, but I think curb weight is about 4500. You gotta remember though, the TBSS makes almost 150 hp more than the 5.9 stock
I sold mine for $6000 even. Not a bad price I thought, but it wasn't a "show condition" truck either.
