Ive read and seen alot have issues with electric for dash and headlights but have not seen anyone with my problem...

04 QC - 4.7 V8 Auto
Here's what seems to be on the curcuit Im having trouble with.
Runs. Wipers, power windows, Steering wheel stereo controls. It comes in and out. getting worse. nothing like no wipers in a rainstorm!!

Fuses and all others stuff ok.. Thinking loose connector somewhere or bad ground. Ive heard someone say there is a dash ground in the driver side kick panel. anywhere else I should look? NO consistancies with it....could be nice day could be raining, could be cold could be hot......

Your CTM is going it basically controls everything that the pcm doesnt. It controls,windows,locks,keyless entry,radio,all lights,wipers,horn,cruise. Depending what options you have will be a different price its a dealer only part ranges from 150.00-300.00.

ok...make sense with after going above a certain speed the door locks dont always lock then all of a sudden ...BOOm then lock some time later?

I though the keyless was my remote battery........Hmmmmmm and the dome lights staying on after all doors shut ( swore the kids were screwing with them!)

ok...need to take it anyways to dealer as new issue is the P0700 code so I need the trans control Module read to see whats going on there......

 

If you didnt find where the CTM is located its under the parking brake behind the kick panel there are TONS of wires to it you can try messing with the connections but I doubt that will help any.
