Default truck got taller this weekend.

Hi all, I'm proud to say I got the 3" lift successfully installed yesterday. We started friday night on all the small teardown stuff, (don't get off work until 11pm) and just have a little here and there saturday before we started the lifting. All in all it's an anybody can do it project. I was sure scared when we cut the 4wd shifter, I thought with my luck the thing would never work, but we lucked out. We didn't even have to bend the shift lever any because my brother messed up welding the top back on. he got it on pointed just a bit to the right, but it gave clearance for the shifter in all the gears. Just had to adjust the linkage to get 2wd engage. But all in all a succsess, I even got my half rust covered front bumper repainted with Rhino Lining. Looks better than I figured it would. 31's look like donuts now, but should be getting my 33's in late next week if all goes well. I'll post pics after I get the new rubber put on.

OK, OK, I'll get ya some before pics, but you'll just have to wait until morning for after lift, before tire pics because I just don't have ny. All the after pics were taken at my bro's on my bro's camera and he hasn't posted em online yet. LOL. Here's a teaser of whitey!

ok u asked so here's some pics of her lifted. Rather chilly out, and my camera isn't the greatest. When I get some sunny weather I'll get better pics. My camera works better when it's sunny.

sorry it took a lil bit to get the pics but here goes

I know they not the greatest pics, but keeps u frum seeing the cheapo tires. When the new rubber comes you'll get a real good showing of it. I also need to make some gap guards for it, just haven't had time. the orange on the front valance is rust. My bumper had some problem putting on her lipstick, so I sanded her down and gave her a new coating of duplicoat. (original paint was peeling) plan on doin all the exposed area inside the rear fender before I put the gap guards in just for added rust protection.
