Hi I am wondering what the normal idle speed should be on a 2004 4.7L Dakota? My truck idles around only 500-550 rpm, which seems kind of low to me. Maybe that is what it should be, I dont know. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Although, it was 2,000 for a while after I jumped these railroad tracks/hill at 85 mph ...stupidest idea ever btw.

 

mine too. idles like not even running. lately jumps to 800 or so. i think my tps is gong. I wish i was back to 500 to 550 !!!
