truck stalls when stopping

Default truck stalls when stopping

truck runs great untill it idles down and often stalls but starts right up when i turn the key what will cause this


1999 sport 318 5 speed.. cold air intake thrusch turbo exuast

Try cleaning your IAC.

Low transmission fluid will cause the torque converter to lock up and it can't idle.

Never mind Just saw it is a 5 speed.

If it's wanting to stall when you're coming to a stop (and cleaning the IAC doesn't seem to help) maybe it's the Vehicle Speed Sensor.

Check the battery. If the voltage is low the first thing the computer eliminates is the idle circuit. I had the same issue and a new battery solved it.
