Wide open throttle is most efficient? Maybe thats true for the engine itself - but High RPM's & low speed(starting from a dead stop) = poor MPG's

I believe there is a happy medium somewhere between 1/4 throttle and WOT. I don't think taking 5 minutes to get up to speed is effiecient but holding her wide getting up to 65 isn't exactly the best way either.
