Anyone know who makes Mopar filters? I thought some were made by Fram and some were made by Purolator maybe? I forget now.

Sorry to tell you men this but if a filter increases oil pressure it is only because it is TOO restrictive. Oil pressure is controlled by the clearances of the rods, main bearings, and cam bearings. It may be increased with a higher viscosity oil. If a filter increases oil pressure, I'm getting a different filter. Just my two cents, Charlie

Agree & disagree Disagree here 94 Dak had crummy O.P. noted driving it home from junk lot, it actually decreased one time to Zilch at normal driving speeds. Pulled that filter, changed oil, much better. Tore filter apart and it was full of crap. I have changed oil 2 times since filter three times, added engine restore. Filters cleaning it up, I cut each one open. I Also strain drain oil , normal babbitt residue, etc.Truck is much better now. Interesting note hardly any engine restore residue in drain oil, engine much smoother, noise down 90% Even noise I associate with wrist pin is gone. Using M-1 high mileage & mopar filter. ( Made my living being a recip engine tech for 5 years, that helps understand stuff too)
