I have searched the forums and can only find partial answers that dont help so far , anyway`s , i need to correct my speedometer after my wheel size change and i want to know what the factory tooth count for the speedometer on the driven gear is for the 2001 dakotas with the 255/65/16 factory tire sizes . I currently have the stock 215/75/15 tire size on my 97 2wd with 3:55 axel gears and the 42re auto trans , and i got a sweet deal on the 255/65/16 rims and tires from a `01 dakota , but i dont know what engine/trans or axel ratio it had . I do know that the driven gear is 13 teeth on the output shaft of the tranny . any help would be appreciated !
