got into an accident looking to replace my front bumper assembly entirely looking for ideas and pictures of things done in the past ive been in contact with kennshaw or how ever u spell it but ive hear it takes forever to get the bumper not trying to be for months especially coming into winter and the snow season bumerless

looking for ideas or if anyone has a mint red bumper for a 97 dakota or should i upgrade to the 01 bumper?

 

Check the part-out threads. right color is hard to come by, but i got my front from a part out on here for 75 shipped and 150 to paint it at maaco.

 

something I forgot- Mines an 01 and I got a 98 bumper. The fog lights are 100% different. I got it to work by switching the brackets left to right, and reversing them. Not perfect, but they work.

 

i have a broken 97 bumper and a broken 01 bumper so the foglight brackets i have cover which is a better bumper?

 

both the same to me, honestly. The 01 (my factory one) had 4 extra mounting bolts that the 98 one doesn't, that go to the side of the frame rails.

 

i am pretty sure if you get the 04 bumper they are one piece makes for easier instal..

 

both the 98 and 01 I had were 1 piece assemblies?
