since you said yours was cracked on the inside only, i took mine and filled them with water.

The one that didn't take on water? Cracks are inside only.

The one that did? You ca't feel the cracks from the outside, but it looks like a shower head when i fill it with water. So that mystery is solved.

Here's what I'm gonna do-

$ ??- pair of housings

$ 42- 35W HIDS http://www.mydepots.com/normal-hid-k...-beam-p-1.html

$ 21- Relay kit http://www.mydepots.com/relay-harnes...-kit-p-24.html

$ 7- pair of 880-898 connector male pigtails http://autolumination.com/connectors.htm

I'm gonna take the factory fog wire, use the pigtails to convert them to wire leads, and connect them to my 55W driving lamps. The i'm going to use that relay kit, and use the switch I added on my dash to turn the HID's on and off. That way I can have HID, driving, and lows, or HID and highs. Not sure what my illumination distance will be, but I can bet I'll be able to see things!

Would it be possible to drill like a 3/32" hole in the bottom backside of the housing so any water could drain out?
