No heat?

Default No heat?

Got my 1999 Dakota, just now starting to have to use heat, and it doesnt get warm, barely warmer than the cab, any suggestions why that could be??? im 17, fairly new to trucks, any help would be greatly appretiated

Try flushing the heater core first. It made a big difference on my truck.

I had the same problem, I flushed the heater core and radiator, then replaced the thermostat. But it turned out to be something I found in a post, the hoses on the heater core had been put on wrong, I switched the top hose to the bottom and vice versa and bingo now I have lots of heat ! hey yall just wanted to let u know i cleaned out the heating core and now it blows hot!!!
only saying cause i know yall r losing sleep over it thanks for the help guys.

If it was that bad you might to do a whole engine flush might be more crap in the rad.
