winter prep
i live in jersey and i drive an 02 dakota 2wd. im new to trucks and rwd winters so im not really sure were to start. i searched for threads with tire chains but didnt find much as far as suggestions and expierences of brands.
im currently running 225/75/15 all around and i want to get some chains. i looked around online but decided to hold off on ordering and ask for some advice first.
aside from chains im adding weight into the bed of my truck. im not exactly sure how much. from what ive read im thinking atleast 200 lbs.

studded snows ftw. They make an unbelievable difference.
Get a set of these. They are cheap and work really well. My girl friends father uses them in the winter along with a class mate that actually has a 2wd dakota as well. Both say they work awesome. For the price you can't beat it.

I was actually looking at those tires. Anyone else can comment on them? And I'm going to get an air pump to inflate/ deflate my tires as needed. Anything else? The help has been great so far.
EDIT: those firestone tires are sold out for the season apparently FML day late and a dollar short. are there any other sized i can run on a stock suspension? i know the biggest i can go is about 31 inch (from the faq) but can someone help me with specific dimensions?
