Default 4.7 to 5.9 swap

How easy will this be? Has anyone tried it?

I know the 3.9 to 5.9 is almost bolt and go, I've done a few of these.

So here's my plans; take a 4door 2gen and turn it into a R/T

What I do have is the 5.9, Trans, engine harness, computer and all things necessary to drop it in.
What I don't have is the truck which I'm hunting as I speak.

What I have found is a boat load of 4.7L that I could pick up for cheap, there's not as many 3.9L to choose from in a quadcab...

So I'm wondering if the 4.7 is (close) to as easy to swap????
Any ideas out there?

Well...I highly recommend not dealing with the 4.7L vehicle to do this swap, imho. Believe me...it takes alot of time. I mean, don't get me wrong, you can do it if you're willing to put that much time into it. There's a guy on here that dropped in a hemi swapping from a 4.7L (I think?) Someone can confirm that for me. All depends on what you want to do.

I own a hemi in my Ram. As much as I like it I believe the 5.9 is just as stout and reliable. Pluss it will have a few goodies thrown in it for good measure lol.

I already have a 5.9 full engine/trans combo so no need to hunt down a hemi and such...

I know a 5.7 will go into a 4.7 I've assisted in a Ram conversion.

I knew the 4.7 to 5.9 was a long shot and I know it is possible (anything is possible lol) I was just hopeing it would be as simple as swapping pins in the ECM or something...
