Default heater core rant

OK so I need to Rant, I have owned my 00 dakota for little over 3 years now , Ive put about 35K miles on it , Ive had some minor issues but nothing major. Shortly after i bought it ( of course after the 3month 3K miles warranty) the heater core went out .So i had it replaced , flash forward to a few weeks ago I start smelling antifreeze every now and then when i turned the heater on, Didnt really think much of it till it started getting a little stronger smell, and now the windows are fogging up so i know its something with the heater core, I found the work order from when i had it replaced 3 years and 34K miles to date since it was done and now it may need replaced again Bah, Just ticks me off , and the fact that it couldnt do it mid to late fall when it was still kinda nice out , NO had to wait till its in the 20s and go , so currently running around with little to no heat =( Until i can get it in the shop UGH ! Thanks for letting me vent !!

Yeah Im hoping it will / would be something simple, and not have to have the whole dash pulled to change out the core, Id normally do the work myself but since you have to drain the a/c system and pull the airbag and what not to change it out Ill leave it to the professionals. just sucks . Today wasnt too bad it was 32º outside so i didnt freeze much LOL .
