Default Super chips with 318

I got 3865 super chips for my truck I think. Well when I go into advanced tune, You turn ignition on and off a few times, Well the second time I think it is my gauge cluster pretty much goes out. gauges drop and then mileage gauge flashes 4 times and says no bus, Is this normal for the super chip? It goes back to normal after. But just going down the road today truck just died out, Same thing happened to gauges sitting at a stop light and then after turning the ignition back and forth a few times all gauges go up, fuel light goes out and truck fired and there I went, This is frustrating. It was a dam busy intersection too.

Rpm gauge stayed exactly at 650 at idle. But engine was not running. all four gauges dropped down like gauge cluster was dead. but dash lights, lights,. ect were still on. I was told it may be the crank shaft sensor, or ecu. or dash guage cluster. what do you think?

A bit more to it..
