read about the MAP sensors and see if that sounds like your problem, ive read alot of guys on other forums changed them out and makes a huge improvemnt on our magnum motors http://www.aa1car.com/library/1999/cm69910.htm

i would see if you map still reading correctly , have you checked your ignition coil , they do get faulty after time /

I'm going to swap out the CAT as some has suggested prior.. I will be replacing with Magnaflow Part number: 23246 129.99 direct fit

Not only because I just want to but.. something I noticed is that after I did the de-carbon job.. it seemed the truck got really sluggish like it was dragging a 10 ton boat or something.. really slow rpm increase.. even when stomping on it.. I've been driving around for a while now.. about 300 miles.. mileage seems to average about 13-14MPG.. and goes up and down a hell of a lot more.

I'm thinking the CAT might have gotten clogged worse with all that carbon and **** and such coming out when ever I did the clen job.. Maybee* thats the problem.. the crap has been building up and is the problem, enough clogg to not really allow the exhaust to pass but once you give it enough throttle there is enough pressure to allow it to pass but still holding the engine back? I've heard that before.. maybe the other thread the guy heard the gargling sound and changed his cat (I have this sound as well) perhaps it is all related.

I'm guessing in the wind.. but convinced myself to spend the money.

I have 130,000 miles on the truck.. should i replace the O2's or just clean them being i have no codes for the O2's??? Think I can get away for a while just cleaning them?

IDK I'm second guessing.. maybe replace the CAT just to do it cus I want a high flow on there.. really does not make sense though.. you would think it would start glowing red and/or fall flat on its face when trying to get on it.. just is odd.. this issue is weird..

Man.. I'm almost ready to tell this dodge to go to hell.. give me some gas and matches.. I have full coverage.

Default Found the real problem !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Everyone that has this same sort of issue that I have described..

Go down and spend like 100 bucks Labor) unless you know and can do it your self. -15 bucks parts

-Go through each and every last damn lifter in the bich on both heads and adjust them to proper tolerance..

-Put new Rubber valve cover.. (From Nappa or Carquest its the same part just different name on the cardboard)

Please post here if you get a confirm fix..
