Not trying to be a jerk here but if you're having to ask these questions then I'm not sure you should attempt a SAS yourself. SAS's involve a lot of work and fabrication skills (not saying you don't have them) But wether or not that lift would fit depends on how you set up the SAS suspension and if it's coils, coil over, or leaf springs. As far as loosing 4x4 no you wouldn't as long as you match gear ratios properly and connect it to the transfercase.
i know someone who will do the job for me, but ur completely right, im only 19 still learning the ropes, but where would i be able to buy a sas for my truck and whats better coils or leafs?
Ahhhh ok sorry if I sounded like a jerk just didn't want to make it sound like an easy job let you spend the money its going to take to get it going and then it never get done. You're going to need a driver side biased front axle and a matching rear. All of the ones I have seen used axles off of an older 70s f-250. As far as which is better the leaf sprung is going to be way cheaper and easier to fabricate but coil springs have better articulation and flex. It depends what you're going to be using the truck for.
