Angry clicking sound when i push pedal

When im driving and i push the pedal about half way i get this fast clicking sound in my engine. the more i push the accelarator pedal the louder and faster it clicks. I honestly have NO clue what this could be. Does anyone have any suggestions on what it could be. Also when i floor it my RPM will go redline but my car just doesnt go, at all. i have to let of a little bit to keep accelarating.

the ticking noise could be an exhaust leak. and the accel. problem could be the tps.

Mine does tick sometimes just a little bit, but it stops after a few minutes of driving. So as far as that goes I wouldn't be worried too much about the noise. Like thunder said, it could just be an exhaust leak. And yeah check the tps for the throttle problem. I still haven't looked at mine btw thunder, she's runnin like a champ again.

I would also possibly check the fuel injectors.
