OK, I will drop the Hankooks. The Goodyears I have also have poor wet traction. Will spin on a weet ramp trying to accelerate to get on the interstate. You get a little fish tail action if you are not careful.

I've had them for almost 3 years on my truck and love them. I heard rumors that they may be discontinued soon. I'm tempted to buy a set to have on hand just in case.

spare dakota rims are easy to find on craigslist. since my old tires were pretty bad, I just had the snow tires mounted up on my current rims. come springtime I'll see what I can come up with for extra set. maybe pimp out my minivan with something fancy. or maybe not.

I looked at all of this last year about this time...I had the RT/S still on my truck. Anyway, I settled on the Wrangler DuraTracs. they are a good looking tire, and so far, I have no complaints. It is most likely a Goodyear compound issue, and well, no weight in the rear of the truck, but they are tail happy. Ive never had an issue braking wet, dry or snow. Ice, well, I will most likely find out tomrorrow! Otherwise, I am happy with them. The second was going to be Nittos, but everyone I read about said they wore too fast. Anyway, BFGs were too expensive and not as appealing. Then again, opinons are like ...well you know the rest.
I have my set of 18'' Torq Thrusts I'm debating on re-rubbering with something other than the Proxies. Might do Terras there and just have 2 sets of big tires...lol.

I really like the look of the bfg a/t's, but I really like the price of the generals...I'm getting new tires this summer and I'm still torn on which to get. But I'm leaning towards generals since they are about 1/3 cheaper then BFG's on tirerack.com

Yes tirerack is cheap but wait till you get charged for shipping. When I was looking for my bfg's I think they were 145 but for shipping to my house was 94.00. Thats when I found discounttiredirect.com there prices are more but thats because thats with shipping included Mine were free shipping. 150 a tire for 32's is a good deal espically since they are bfg's

Yes tire rack is pricey when you add in shipping and installation but Belletire and Discount tire will work with ya.
