Yeah ice sucks big time especially on real roads. At least it was only tree and not the back of an audi... you're lucky you have room in your garage to work on it. I gotta wait until it gets warmer to do what I have to do lol.

You're probably just better off taking that through insurance =P There's about $450 in replacements alone. If there is more damage inside that will be more money.

Just to pour salt into the wound Rakaric. Lol. I just have to wait for a little while (probably mid march, sometimes it snows until then). I was in this parking lot a few weeks ago at a mall and it was just sheer ice it was awesome just had to be careful or the light posts.

Well...the passenger side wasn't easy to line up, but my new smoked headlights are installed =) My radiator core must have been off by a little, because after mounting it using the holes in the fender, the light was too close to the grille, and too far from the outside of the fender. Another problem was the bumper. The bumper actually buckled upward where the bumper naturally bends to go under the grille, which caused it to be too close to the headlamp. Since that was all pushed over, the outside bottom bolt for the headlamp mount had no room because of the bumper bracket. I was able to hammer the bumper a good 1/8th of an inch or so back to it's original place, but that will just have to be another time when I feel like taking the time to take off the bull bar and etc. Not a fun job =P

Enough of that downside...

ANYWAY...I got the illumination lined up and all I can say is wow. It made my vision much brighter! These things are bright, lol. Pics!

I found these on ebay. They go for 140 bucks at the cheapest if you thoroughly search. Otherwise they could cost 160. They have quite a bit of styles, but I liked this one the best.

The snow tires are the Dunlop Grantrek SJ6. I think these are the only snow tires that come in 31s at tire rack. Good tires...just nothing that can fix the ice situation. Obviously...haha! But seriously, these have awesome traction with snow.

if your looking for a bad *** snow tire try the Cooper Discoverer M+S. serious traction in snow and they are even studdable for better ice traction, and they come in a 31. not sure if tire rack has them though...
