loss of power

bump.. and update

just today started happening more. i start it up and it idles fine, but within a mile of driving it starts acting up. i put it in neutral and shut the engine down and restart and its right as rain until the next time i shut it off. any clues?

Mine is doing the same thing as yours. It seems to be a common problem. I've read where other people solved it by replacing the pre-cat O2 sensor. Mine has the MIL on with 2 codes:

P0135 HO2S-11 (Bank 1 Sensor 1) Heater Circuit Malfunction

P0132
HO2S-11 (Bank 1 Sensor 1) Signal Shorted to Voltage

Both of those codes are for the same pre-cat O2 sensor. I plan to replace it soon with a new one (NTK 23137). Hopefully that cures the problem.
