Default hemi swap

so ive been looking into swapping my v6 for a v8 4.7, does anyone know where i can get a 4.7 mopar crate engine?

a 4.7 isnt a hemi, 5.7's are. if you have the 3.9 just swap in a 5.9. much easier.

BUT IT's well worth it when it's done...

okay, are the mounts different for the 4.7? i just need to know where to get the actual engine, ove decided i just want a v8 instead of moding my v6. lol
i looked on mopars site, but they dont have crate engines for sale. i have a 98 2wd

Yes, the motor mounts,and even the location of the mounts are different just about any motor you change to is goimg to have different mounts,Swap to a Hemi,, You wont be disapointed..

well you have a 98 so you have a 3.9 v6, doing a 5.9 swap will save you lots of time and work. 5.7 hemi is great but lots is needed to get it done right a lot more work for a hemi than a 5.9. Im perfectly happy with my stock 5.2 its got all the power I need though a 5.9 would be nice.

Ramguy makes a good point -there's nothing wrong with a 360 Dodge fuel injected Motor. It would give your 98 some go-go-fo show..You can find them reasonably priced and performance parts are cheaper than 4.7 or Hemi Motors..
My Motto:hp=$$..But there's no replacement for displacement..Go big or go home..

in that case throw a 8.0 v10 in it

If Im taking the time to fit in a big motor is sure as hell aint going to be no v10 its going to be a 5.9 cummins baby!!
