Limited Slip?
Hey guys... it's about to snow like 18 inches here in the next few days, so it's obviously too late to change before then. But, my question is to those of you with a 2WD, is it worth me putting in the LSD? BTW I have a 9.25 open rear end right now so as you can imagine it's fun... Thanks

on a serious note, if your going to put in the effort of swapping a rear end i say go for a locking rear end, im sure you can find one around for cheap

Yeah actually I just looked and a 9.25 Detroit locker is like 650 which is about the same price as a LSD. My question is how does the locker perform in snow? I guess it can't be worse than the open 9.25 it has now. And I gotta say your truck is soooo sick.
You might consider a Lock-Right too, which is supposed to be much easier to install and is a lot cheaper than a Detroit Locker.

It will perform as well as a 2wd truck can in the snow with a locker basically.

Here is a Dana Trac-Lok I found while browsing for a lsd for my truck - http://www.4wheelparts.com/Drivetrai...hrysler+9.25in.
I have Powertrax No-Slip for about 7 years now. No problems even with a 5.9 and tons of hard offroad driving with 33's.
Just like anything as long as it is installed correctly, it will work perfectly.
