Transfer case stuck in 4lo
It is always a good idea to use the 4wd occasionally just to keep stuff from freezing up. Even if you dont technically "need" it. Pull off in something slick just let it get some use every now and then. Ive seen way too many times when hubs and the like has froze up from non use rendering the 4wd useless.
Yep, in neautral from R and D. Started in N. Every combination of getting into neutral I could think of.
Was thinking about putting in an NV244 but the junkyard didn't have any. So I will just be sticking with the motor.

How did that storm go for you by the way? I swear...crap like this snow storm, I'm glad I have snow tires...I was able to go through high snow, no problem. Well...sorta =P There were times it was trying to dig itself out.
I was actually trying to buy chains, but I didn't think ahead to order them. Storm was good though, truck handled great. Would have been nice to have about 4 KC hilites on the top for the white out conditions. Those fog lamps are nothing.
As for the T case, I swapped the motor, nothing. It is in 2WD now because I manually shifted it there with a crescent wrench, but the light still flashed when I try to go to 4 hi to lock it up and tighten down the center nut on the t case companion flange. That being said, I am afraid it looks like I am ripping my dash apart.

Alright, well problem solved, and hopefully this can help a lot of you out. I also wouldn't mind if one of the moderators stickies this thread for others. So here's the deal. I changed the transfer case motor, changed the transfer case control module, checked the 4x4 fuse under the hood, nothing. Then I noticed my windshield wipers were working, so I checked the fused, changed it, and the transfer case worked.
SO, Dodge, in their infinite wisdom, tied the windshield wiper fuse in the cab to the transfer case control module or case itself somehow and didn't label it as such. I'm thankful I fixed it, but pretty pissed that I went through all that time and money trying to located the problem.

Thank you for your help and by the way, I'm sorry for my bad english !
Maybe i missed it but I didn't find much documentation on that fuse. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see it in the FSM. I am glad my mistakes helped somone else though. It is a good piece of info to have.
