So i finally did away with my small filter and upgraded
heres a pic of the old compared to the new, sorry for the darkness as i just did this in the parking garage, it was a tight fit though with that dang a/c line and the dipstick kinda in the way

sounds great! it almost sounds like a turbo spool lol does the larger filter make a difference?

 

i took it around the block and it felt like my throttle response came up some and maybe a lil more umph, but i could notice a difference and in theory with more room for air to come in there should be greater airflow so hopefully extra power
