Ok, here goes, Fan stopped working, picked up a resistor from Autozone, hooked it up and it cooked on contact. Fan blows like a hurricane but wire casings are melted and needed to pry them apart to avoid contact. Old connector is melted down but believe it or not ,old resistor still supplies motor. (go figure) Need to know if motor is drawing too many amps or pack it in and buy a tundra (kidding) Seriously, whats cooking this wiring harness? "bigreed91" please help, or any one else out there. YOUS'E GUYS ROCK!!

Check the switch? My jeep always had problems with the fan control switch and the other switch.. replaced 4 times each.. last time.. I had to splice wires because it started melting the harness.. Chrys. products are about the same design and IMO are POS's poorly design and cheap materials.. always seem to fail..

Maybee see what the switch is putting out? It could have a short in it.. or other problem sending too much power..

IDK?
