radiator drain plug

Default radiator drain plug

i have a 2000 with the 4 banger and i need to flush my radiator. when i found the drain plug i noticest that the plastic handle had snapped off. now it is flush with the side of the radiator. are there any tricks to getting is out?

I just take off my lower rad hose much easier.

yea that's what i thought but the lower hose isnt really that low. it is more like in the middle of the radiator. will still drain properly?

Must be different then cause my 5.2 is at the lowest point of the rad.

Get a hold of it with some vice grips and turn it out. Take it to Advanced or somewhere and buy a new one.
