Default Parts List for R/T

So after doin some reading this is what ive come up with that id like to work on getting this summer.

Comp cams roller rockers with 1.6 ratio

Edelbrock Performer RPM Aluminum Cylinder Head 176cc Intake Ports 58cc Combustion Chambers 2.020'' Int/1.600'' Exh Valves 1.460'' Valve Springs, .580'' Max Lift

Lunatti Voodoo Mechanical Roller Camshaft
Lift: .555''/.566''
Adv. Duration: 261°/267°
Duration @ .050'': 231°/237°
RPM Range: 2500-6400

Mopar 2 bbl mpi, aluminum, single plane, magnum direct replacement, with out EGR 1997-02 5.2/5.9 same height as stock manifold.

It all comes to a total of about $2500 without shipping. Ill be out to sea about half of the summer so i should be able to save some money. Also this doesnt include the smaller things id likely replace while its apart like push rods, timing chain, etc. But hot rod magazine did this setup and it brought their 5.9L magnum up to 448hp and 434lb-ft and they started at 300hp. Also im about to get a 52mm tb and injectors from 1999blkdakrt. So how does this sound for starters?

hey! sounds great to me. I have a 5.9 block in the machine shop right now prepping it for what sounds like a very similar build except mine is on a '97 Dak Sport 4x4. Just wondering if your plans ever came to fruition or if life "got in the way"? What did you do about the increased power and the transmission?
