I have a dak sport with the 2.5 (I know many think it's worthless). This weekend I decided I would finally work on it a bit. Flush the cooling system, installed a 180 tstat, a Jeep 4.0 throttle body, and I did a homemade cai with a large spectre filter. I started her up and she didn't like the intake to well. So, I reset the pcm and fired her up and it felt a totally different ride. The rpms just fly after about 3500. Throttle response and top end acceleration are way better than it was before. My next step is a cat back exhaust and some pacesetter shorty headers. I know a lot people think the 4banger isn't work spending a penny on but I like it and am going to stick with it.

 

im not gonna diss 4 bangers man look at those toyotas pushin 40's they got 4 bangers. i love my V8 tho
