Default Aussie locker, lock right locker...?

I'm kind of sick of the one wheel peel on a dirt road or wet road...

I got a 99 Dakota 4x4 sport 3.9L, and wanted to know if there is any "how to video" on a Aussie locker install or a lock right locker install?
I was wondering if its something I can do in my garage or if i gotta take it some were to get done?
any suggestions or reviews which is better for our trucks?
I do mostly highway driving and wheel on the weekends.

Default Axle?

All depends on what type of rear axle you have. I bought an Aussie and had to send it back as Aussie doesn't make one the Chrysler 9.25. Yeah I got too excited and didn't check hard enough. Lesson learned. Putting them in though is pretty easy. You don't even have to take the carrier out! The side gears are replaced too. All you need is a good wrench set though an impact gun would be nice.

I think the guy who designed teh Aussie used to work for Lockright and went off and designed his own. I think you would be happy with either one.

BTW, this is my first post on this great site!

Well if you have the 8.25 you are good for either one! Have fun picking one out!

Thanks for the welcome cowboy, I'm glad I found this site.

I got a PowerTrax Lock-Right, the No-Slip version. It is very easy to install, and defiantly worth it. The only bad thing is on the street you have to take it easy on turns from a dead stop, or else you'll spin the tires.
