I just fixed a problem I had that Bpark lead me too (broken wire) but I have another issue that's popping up more and more. My engine has been shutting off when I slow down or come to a stop. I did disconnect the negative post on the battery while I made the repair so I'm wondering if the PCM still is adjusting. There for awhile the truck was fine and only shut off once and awhile before I fixed the wire. The truck is an 04 4x4 with a 4.7 with 99,000 miles on it.
I Did replace the PCM with a rebuilt one that turned out to make the truck run worse ( lost power under acceleration) .I removed it and put my old one back in. Now it runs normal except for the shutting off issue.
