Yeah a lot of the stuff you can do for cheap might as well go to sears, lowes, homedepot and get yourself a socket set and do like the plugs yourself. I actually do a lot of my work outside(as long as its sunny and 40+ degrees) even tho I have a garage if I have to crawl under the truck normally ill pull it in the garage.

BTW I love megan fox!!!!

Yea, service writers have a ****ty deal. they need to charge you what people somewhere told them. But they should give you a realistic deal to keep your business.

Everything you said you need, doenst need a garage. Just a sunny day, or, a well placed umbrella...lol
Anyway, you get top of the line parts and a small set of tools, you might look at $2-400, and well, you can do other stuff later...without the need for vaseline...

I'm over by Auburn.
Yeah, best way to go will be "chippin' away at it" with weather permitting or at least some tarp. I've at least got the Haynes Repair Manual. Was a pain just to get the shop to give me a written estimate/quote for the work to be done, seems they don't like to do that. So, I got myself a roster of things to get done for the cost of a shop oil change. Being lazy and having somebody else do it for me is just too costly. Will post my progress as I can. Thanks again guys! Soo glad I found this forum!!!
