It's worth the drop.

More than likely is, and if I could do it all again I would sacrifice the 2mpg drop and get the 4.7. But, Now I got what I got, and I gotta make due.

Have you ordered your throttle body yet? I am curious as to what kind of performance you see out of it with the V6.

it lowers the backpressure and lets it breath a little more freely. thus the 10hp gain

Not yet. I am actually wondering if a 4.7 throttle body would fit onmy 3.7, seeing as how the engines are so similar.

I'm going to do a little bit of research and see what my options are, I am tight on $$ right now and don't want to drop a few hundo on something if I can pull a 4.7 TB from a junk yard for $10

I dont know if it's 10 hp, I doubt it honestly. But I'm pretty sure that between the muffler and the CAI I gained 15+ hp, it is certainly a very noticeable difference from stock. What kind of muffler did you use?

For what it's worth I did my V8 swap in 4 days...

That's only working on it at night and 1 weekend.

I wouldn't spend another penny on a V6 I blew up 3 of them now.

They work great for counterweight while plowing with the 3/4 ton tho.
