Default Painting Six Lug Rims

I'm new to the site. My name is Jeff. I have an 04 Dodge Dakota with six lug stock rims. I'm trying to figure out the best way to paint them... I would like to paint the blades black, done right... If anyone on here has done this and knows the best products and techniques to use, please respond! I would appreciate pictures along with any advice that can be offered...

Here is a picture of what my rims look like:

Thanks!

I did my stock rims in plasti dip(can be found at almost any hardware store) No sanding required just wash them real well and spray about 1 can for each rim(size depending) 2 other members have the same thing done to their wheels min has been 2 months and still holding up great.

Mask off, lightly sand to rough up the paint for adhesion, prime and paint with a dupilcolor or quality paint.

I'm going to do mine this summer but with a semi gloss or gloss. I don't really like the flat look. I've seen duplicolor makes a wheel paint so I'll look into that.

Black rims on a Dakota look so sharp. I found a video on youtube that may help you with painting your rim.

i did mine almost a year ago and its still held up and im not sick of it yet. only tip is clean them alot cause i think they look way better. i dont know if gloss would be any better tho. i seen a guy on df with hi-gloss, he had a black truck with the same 15'' wheels as me.

Also another thing is with plastidip is you can peal it off with a little bit of work no sanding needed.
