Those mods should improve your mileage too. When my truck was stock I got about 16 city/ 19 highway. Now I get about 18 city, 21-22 highway (at 75 mph w/ cruise control on) I have intake, muffler, autolite plugs, and clutch fan removed.

10-12 mpg from a V6? WTF? Dude, something is REALLY wrong. Check/ replace O2 sensors...you should be getting at least 15.

When I first bought it, I was getting around 17-18 on the highway, and around 14 in town. Since then I have seen a MAJOR drop, but I have my magnaflow cat on order as well as the new O2 sensors. I wish I would have known about the muffler before I ordered everything though, I would have ordered it at the same time I did the rest of it. I just bought the cold air intake off ebay, and I am replacing my plugs tomorrow, so we will see what happens.

You might want to check your injectors too...either pull them out and clean them or at least dump a bottle or two of Lucas fuel treatment or Techron in the tank....or....beter yet...do the Seafoam treatment.

Do you run a bottle of fuel injector cleaner every 3000-5000 miles?

When you do your plugs make sure they are gapped properly, and then after the new cat, O2 sensors, intake/muffler/ and seafoam or other fuel injector cleaning you should get back to where you were before. 10-12 mpg is terrible even for a V8.

My dad has an '09 Hemi Ram 1500 QC and gets 13-14 and he has a pretty heavy foot. You have some type of blockage or restriction in your motor to be getting that bad of mileage. What you are doing shoudl clear it up though.

I put lucas through it every oil change, and I have replaced all of the fuel injectors right after I bought the truck. Had 3 that did not want to clear up so I tossed them in the trash. My 83 Chevy has a 454 bored .030 over, with a 950 edelbrock carb, headers, and I am running 37" boggers on it and I get about the same mileage out of it as I do my dakota right now lol.

Cant really go by the new hemi's as they have the fuel saving crap. Our 07 hemi has the mds where it shuts off 4 cylinders and it get 13-15 city(already beating my dak mpg) and 17-19 highway. Also I've never run fuel injector cleaner I guess before it was prob ok but now with all the crap they are adding to gas it might be a good idea too.

I highly doubt my dad lets off the gas long enough for it to go into 4 cylinder mode. He likes to achieve cruising velocity as fast as possible, and then instead of cruising, speed up and slow down and mash the $hit out of the gas pedal to pass as many people as possible. Sometimes he slows down for cops though.
