You freaking out over nothing. I drove my 96 dakota 2,400 round trip on a trip and through the mountains. Dont worry about.

183,600mi as of tonight when I got to work..........still has the original serpentine belt on it believe it or not......have replaced: brakes (front), both front axles, front wheel bearings, manifold gaskets ( both with broken bolts in the back cylinders, go figure) (all at 150,000+) and a front drive shaft in the morning......would hop in it and drive anywhere even before the DS in the morning, best vehicle I've ever had, and less parts changed than the Subaru that died at 252,000

Wow you guys are giving me some extra confidence in the longevity of these vehicles. If mine makes it to 275-300k km I'll be very happy (~180k miles)

180k miles is nothing to be happy about. I would be completely let down if my truck didn't make 200k on the drivetrain. My goal is 250k. These days cars should last 200k+.

At work we have 4 company trucks that are over 200k and 3 of them are over 300k. All are F150's '99 and newer. All are on original drivetrains. My brother-in-law has a Tundra with 295k on it but it's on it way out and my father-in-laws 2006 F-150 has 190k on it and still in great condition.

There are a LOT of vehicles with 200k miles plus. 100k miles is nothing to be concerned about unless it's a turbo'd/sc'ed vehicle that sees boost a lot.
