ok well i switched two rocker arms and now it runs without any knocks ticks and all 7 engine codes went off. So i have no check engine light. BUT now the truck is running rough, idles about 400-500ish. and i took it for a test run and i got on it a little bit and it died at 40. so any ideas? im going to finish putting all new spark plugs in

i am going to guess you need to do some motor work now. sounds like you have damage inside the cyclinder . what was wrong with the 2 rocker arms? if i had to guess i would say cracked piston when metal objects made contact at the least.

Just looking at the pics and the plugs look the same length to me, I also counted the threads and the both seem to have the same amount showing.
The bits that came out of the cylinder look the head of a bolt and its remains. Could anything have fallen in between swapping the plugs?
Either way, I think the head needs removing to see what damage has been done. Sorry for not having better news.
