Default Help please turn signal problem

I have a 98 Dakota 3.9 ltr, at the start when I got the truck had some wiring problems from where some people decided to take the whole dash out to replace the heater core. And when I say the whole dash i mean all wiring was disconnected and all pieces and left bare metal inside. when they hooked everything back up they seemed to have put some backwards. When my headlights are on i have no turn signals, and when it says that my brights are on, my dims are the ones that are on and vis-versa. i can't afford to take it to a shop so if anyone might know how to fix this or knows a website that I can go on and read on how to fix it, i would be appreciate it.

The headlight on/no turn signals sounds like a bad ground. Check under the dash, behind the kickpanels on both sides. You should see several ground connections. Make sure they're clean and tight.
