I didn't know there was a different motor for them besides 5.9...I was thinking bout getting the 5.7 HEMI out a Chrysler 300 or the ram

the HO only came in jeeps for us 2G,but a direct swap for daks. 3G have ho models

What did that motor run you? I bet it'd fit nicely in my 1G durango.

mine was a between 2k and 2500.
there was one just listed on ebay for 1750 i think. great deal.

And with it only being a beefed up 4.7 it should bolt right up to our tranny right? and all of the wires and hoses should also be a direct fit?

yup. well aslong as its got a 16tooth crank tone ring.

16crank tone ring=jtec 3plug pcm
32 crank tone ring=ntg 4 plug pcm

dont have to switch anything really. i can use my same pcm, and all that stuff. same trannys so it bolts up. and accessories like alternator, a/c, but thats a given.
