well hard hard is it to swap tone wheels on the engine cause my truck is a 32 tooth tone wheel and i would need to swap tone wheels in order to do this swap

you need to remove the crank.

ok so the tone wheels will directly swap out with eachother would this be the only change i would need to make

i think so. its not an easy job though. i called around asking shops if they you do it and they didnt want to touch that tone ring with a 10ft pole. i would just get ho cams and the intake mani. unless your motor is toast i wouldnt just buy an HO motor. if you find a ho motor thats got the 4plug pcm then it will be the 32tone ring

ya thats true its just alot of the ones i have found are 16 tooth im not to worried about the tone wheels before i drop in a used motor i would take it to the machine shop and have them hone it re ring it and berring it and at that time i could have them swap it out but thanks for the info and the knock sensors it has you could just plug the holes to those cause it would be a bitc* to hook it

taking it to the shop on monday. they said they might not be able to get to it untill next week. but ive waited 3months i can wait another week.

stock hp comparison is like 20-30. but with my mods its going to be stooopid.
