It is Auto Parts Direct To You and they're located in Florida. Great price and fast shipping.

I was having a constant squeaking when going over bumps, finally fixed after replacing steering intermediate. Be careful with o2 sensor right next to it, i busted it and had to replace it. No more front end squeaking though. Found mind on eBay motors for about 50.

That is an interesting video. Fortunately, on my 2003 Dakota I only had to replace the lower intermediate shaft (it is a two part shaft on mine) and I didn't have to do anything inside the cab on the steering column.

also when replacing the intermediate make sure that the threaded side of the intermediate is on the back side so the bolt can bite there and pull it together. it sounds like common sense but when at that ridiculous position trying to bolt it on i forgot about it and i bolted the threaded part first, which of course left me having to redo it.also if you have a long (2 ft) extension for your ratchet you'll have an easier time with it as long as you have the front end on jack stands and youre able to turn the steering wheel to get the best access to the bolt from the top side.

What are the Part #(s) for the Upper/Lower intermediate steering shafts for a 2WD (TWO-wheel drive) 1998 Dakota.

I'm ONLY finding ones for 4WD (FOUR wheel drive) ONLY.

Totally different parts.

TIA.
