Default Should i buy this?

http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/cto/2252871910.html

The only thing that is wrong with the truck is that needs a transfer case and front drive shaft.

Is there a place where i can get those pretty cheap if i do end up buying this truck?

Just wanted your opinion

Thanks

Garrett

Dude, if you have 5K to burn, and it's not your daily driver...Id buy it...I mean, see what the workmanship is liek for the SAS etc...make sure front/rear are matched(could be why xfer is blown) and umm, see what parts cost. Id give the guy 3K right out if it runs strong and the body/anything above 44" is solid

Yeah,i already talked to the guy and he said he would trade my jetski for it and some cash, but yeah,it is gonna be my daily driver but i dont really drive anywhere just around town, the tcase wasnt blown though, whenever the guy lifted it he said the angle was too far for the drive shafts to flex so he just sold the tcase

if you was to buy it you would have to get a passenger side drop t-case or find a ford (all years with sold axle) or ram 1994-2001 front axle to mach the dakota t-case (drivers side drop)cause it has a gm or early ram 1993 and older axle . it is a sweet looking truck i think it wound look batter with super swappers.

you could always buy it and remove some of the lift to get the t-case back in there... a truck that serious is going to be a pain in the a** for a daily driver.

I would never dd this thing. Plus I'm about 99% sure that isn't road legal (at least up here it wouldn't be...) It would a sweet truck for offroad use, but I wouldn't drive it as a daily. Just my opinion though. If you want to drive it everyday, go for it. I have a feeling you would get sick of it pretty quick.

Why does that seem so cheap? The tires alone were prob about 2k. Truck by itself depending on condition should be worth atleast 5k.

That does seem real cheap for some reason. Maybe it has like 200k on it or something I hate when people don't tell you how many miles are on something in the ad, it's like theyre hiding something. But as far as buying it, if it were a year ago and I lived in Florida, I would probably buy it even without a transfer case (assuming it doesn't have like 200k+ miles). Sure it might be a pain to daily drive (or at least park) but I think it would be pretty cool and get a lot of attention. SO, my opinion is buy it and post a lot of pictures lol.
