Default Under oil cap

When I remove the oil cap. It looks like a light brown/white-ish color around the wall. What's this?

First off I'm assuming you have a 4.7 because it's a common 'issue' on them. You might want to let us know what you're taking about next time.

Secondly, it's perfectly normal on the 4.7. They all do it.

Third, search next time. This issue is addressed over and over again.

Not trying to come off as a dick but you gave us no information at all and probably didn't do any searching.

I guess its reall common on the 4.7s when I changed the oil in the ram(5.7 hemi) it was really bad on there, looked almost like cottage cheese. It gets real bad during the cold months.
