Hi guys!, I own a 97 5.2L dakota, however I been wanting to improve the trucks power. I think I have it pretty good (at least with the basic maintenance )I just thew new plugs (autolite), check spark plug wires resistance, cleaned rotor and distributor cap, cleaned the throttle body, also changed the air filter and took it for an oil change, but now I'm looking on how to improve the power of my truck, maybe a gear ratio change? I'm not sure what gears I got, my budget is a little tight maybe around 600 bucks what u guys recommend???

btw I'm getting a CAI for the truck in a week.

Would platinum plugs help? maybe wires? is a new exhaust a good investment? what else can I get?? thx a lot guy!

 

throttle body, 180tstat, intake, muffler. efan. tuner. thats will eat up your 600 in a hot minute.

 

Lol, in a minute wow, ok already got the 180 stat, and Im getting the intake in a week, not sure if I will get a larger TB, as the muffle I have consider it, does it worth it?

One more question what are efan and tuner ???

 

efan is an electric fan vs the stock mechanical fan you have. and a tuner would be like getting a superchips or SCT.
